Purple, orange and green, which forms the group of secondary colors, are formed by mixing two primary colors. These colors are much more attractive than the primary colors and exude a gentle sheen.

Tertiary colors are created by mixing one primary color and a secondary one. These colors can be used extensively but are not suited as accent colors since they are milder. It is a fact that the colors of your rooms can have some effect in your moods, thought-patterns and overall life. Therefore, great care should be given when you select paints for touching up your house.
